Virtual Events & Conferencing

Client Overview

We partnered with Connect, a rapidly growing online platform for virtual classes, conferences, and exhibitions based in India. With their business model relying heavily on smooth, large-scale online events, even the smallest performance hiccup could impact customer trust, event participation, and revenue. Before their major launch, they needed to be sure their platform could handle real-world load at scale.

The Challenge

During our initial functional and performance readiness checks, we spotted a few critical issues that could interrupt the launch:

  • Login & Registration Failures – Users ran into verification and Gmail SMTP email errors, leading to a frustrating onboarding experience.
  • Transaction Errors – Payment attempts often triggered 403 Forbidden errors, creating the risk of revenue leakage
  • Scalability Risks – Joining meetings with 70+ concurrent users caused Upstream Timeout errors, putting live sessions at serious risk.

Simply put, the platform wasn’t production-ready yet, and these issues could have impacted Connect’s ability to serve enterprise clients and large-scale virtual events.

Our Approach

We designed a structured Load & performance testing strategy using Apache JMeter with baseline11 for cloud execution. By simulating real-world load (50–100+ users) and working closely with Connect’s dev team, we identified bottlenecks, optimized workflows, and ensured scalability.

Tools & Technologies We Used

  • Apache JMeter – for designing performance and load testing scripts.
  • Baseline11 – for scalable, cloud-based execution of test scenarios.
  • Server & CDN Monitoring Tools – to analyze server logs and identify latency issues.
  • Error Debugging Utilities – to trace login, email verification, and payment flow failures.

Our Solution

Through a performance-driven testing cycle, we resolved both technical bottlenecks and user experience challenges:

  • Optimized test scripts to handle unverified/unregistered users for smoother onboarding.
  • Debugged login & email verification failures, ensuring reliable account creation.
  • Recommended server and CDN optimization to eliminate upstream timeouts.
  • Identified payment flow failure points, helping the Dev team fix them before launch.

The Results We Delivered

Our engagement transformed Connect’s platform into a performance-ready system built for scale:

  • 100+ concurrent users supported seamlessly (zero 500-series errors).
  • Average response times are under 2 seconds, hitting industry benchmarks.
  • Login, registration, and payments worked flawlessly under heavy load.
  • 99.9% uptime readiness validated for live events.
  • Client gained confidence to host large-scale virtual conferences without risking downtime or revenue loss.

What Our Client Says

“PrimeQA’s team helped us uncover hidden bottlenecks and gave us confidence before launch. Their load testing expertise ensured our platform could handle real-time conferences without disruptions.”

— CTO, Connect

Why This Matters for Your Business

If your platform relies on real-time engagement, digital payments, or global events, performance testing is not optional. Without it, even a small glitch can:

  • Break customer trust.
  • Disrupt mission-critical events.
  • Cause revenue and reputation loss.

By partnering with us for load and performance testing, businesses ensure scalability, reliability, and seamless user experiences.
